ViewUp is a remarkable application for viewing SketchUp and other 3D models offline on your iOS and Android devices.
Native 3D files from PC - even large ones - can be opened on mobile.
SketchUp files (.skp) are the ones ViewUp likes the most, but it also supports .dae, .stl, .3ds, .kmz and .obj formats.
Zoom, rotate, clip, hide elements – ViewUp lets you examine 3D models wherever you are, something that isn’t possible with printed images.
ViewUp is the most feature-packed mobile viewer on the market. For example, you can take measurements right inside a model. ViewUp supports both metric and Imperial/US units.
Whether you’re a maker, designer or an architect, you no longer have to carry a cumbersome laptop around just to view your 3D models on the go. With ViewUp you can examine models created in SketchUp on your mobile phone or tablet. It’s never been easier to show your customers what a finished project will look like – in 3D.
ViewUp lets you open a model directly from your email or download one from SketchUp’s 3D Warehouse. It also supports files from applications such as AutoDesk 123D and Blender, along with files from many other 3D modeling software that can export to a compatible format. For example, there is support for .stl files which are commonly used for 3D printing. ViewUp works smoothly even with large and complicated models (tested with larger than 2GB!) making it the most powerful viewer in its category.
